Vacancy HSE Superintendent

EPC Engineering in the Oil and Gas industry requires an HSE Superintendent to work on a major LNG project Batangas, Philippines.

SUMMARY:
Reports to: Site HSE Manager
Supervises:Field Safety Supervisors and Safety Officers

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.To provide daily supervision and support to a team of field safety supervisors and safety officers.
2.To provide support and back-up to the Site HSE Manager and the deputy.
3.To assist Site HSE Manager in reviewing subcontractor HSE documentation prior to approval for works.
4.To undertake audits and inspections of subcontractor activities and to prepare and issue reports on the same.
5.To assist subcontractors in improving their HSE performance.
6.To review daily inspection reports and produce regular reviews and summary's of findings.
7.To prepare weekly and monthly HSE reports as requested by the HSE Manager.
8.Inform the Site HSE Manager of any problems regarding HSE.
9.To Develop, with the HSE Manager and his Construction counterpart, specific HSE Plans and Objectives for the area under his responsibility.
10.To implement with construction counterpart the specific HSE plans and objectives for the areas under their responsibility.
11.To attend and contribute to routine meetings with subcontractor construction and HSE staff
